Related traits[edit]
Alchemy
- Chain Reactivity — Gain barrier when you successfully finish a combo field with a leap or a blast. Every third successful finish grants you might and a larger barrier that is shared with allies.
Tools
Scrapper
- Kinetic Accelerators — Grant boons to nearby allies when you successfully combo a field with a blast, leap, or whirl finisher. Your function gyro is now a blast finisher. Whirl finishers can only trigger this trait once per interval.
Notes[edit]
- Unlike with Rocket Boots, the Engineer only receives the effects of combo fields blasted at the start of the propelling, and the effects are gained instantly.
- Combo fields encountered during the propelling will not be blasted.
- This skill's blast finisher makes a notably effective escape with Smoke Bomb and Smoke Screen to grant area stealth.
- Conditions are removed at the start of the jump.
- This skill has a separate recharge from Rocket Boots.

Trivia[edit]
- Rocket Boots was disabled for underwater use on the September 17, 2012 game update because it could launch players into the sky. An underwater version of Rocket Boots that fixed this behavior was added on May 8, 2018.
