A leap finisher is a skill that can create a combo effect by interacting with a combo field. Leap effects are applied directly to either the skill's user or the skill's target.

Bound (Bounding Dodger) — Leap into an area, and deliver a massive blow to enemies.
Traits that improve leap finishers
Chain Reactivity (Alchemy) — Gain barrier when you successfully finish a combo field with a leap or a blast. Every third successful finish grants you might and a larger barrier that is shared with allies.
Kinetic Accelerators (Scrapper) — Grant boons to nearby allies when you successfully combo a field with a blast, leap, or whirl finisher. Your function gyro is now a blast finisher. Whirl finishers can only trigger this trait once per interval.
Diamond Skin (Earth) — Remove conditions from yourself when you successfully combo a field with a leap finisher. Remove conditions from nearby allies when you successfully combo a field with a blast finisher.
Elemental Epitome (Catalyst) — Gain an aura based on your current attunement when you combo. Gain Elemental Empowerment when you grant yourself an aura. Auras can be gained this way once per attunement per interval.
Elemental Synergy (Catalyst) — Gain a bonus effect when you finish a combo. Bonuses can trigger once per attunement per interval.
