Profession Mechanic

Shatters are the mesmer's profession mechanic, occupying the F1 – F4 slots above the skill bar (F1 – F5 for Chronomancers). Using a shatter will create a powerful effect by destroying all of your illusions.

	Mind Wrack	Shatter		12	Shatter. Destroy all your clones, damaging nearby foes. The shatter effect also occurs at your location.
	Cry of Frustration	Shatter		25	Shatter. Destroy all your clones, confusing nearby foes. The shatter effect also occurs at your location.
	Diversion	Shatter		38	Shatter. Destroy all your clones, dazing their targets. The shatter effect also occurs at your location.
	Distortion	Shatter		50	Shatter. Gain distortion and destroy all your clones, gaining additional distortion for each one shattered.

Weapon Skills

Two-Handed

	Skill	Type			Description
Greatsword
1	Spatial Surge		1		Shoot a beam at your foe. The farther away they are, the more damage you deal.
2	Mirror Blade	Clone	0.75¾	5	Throw an illusionary blade that creates a clone at its first target and then bounces to enemies and allies, dealing less damage to foes per hit and granting might to allies.
3	Mind Stab		0.25¼	10	Stab an illusionary greatsword through the ground to cripple foes at your targeted location. This skill deals increased damage against vulnerable foes.
4	Phantasmal Berserker	Phantasm	0.75¾	12	Phantasm. Throw an illusionary greatsword at your foe, removing boons from struck enemies. Create a phantasm that whirls through foes.
5	Illusionary Wave		0.5½	20	Knock back foes with a wave of magical energy.
Staff
1	Winds of Chaos		0.75¾		Bounce an orb of energy between foes and allies. The first hit applies torment, while subsequent hits to enemies apply confusion. Allies that the orb bounces to gain fury and might.
2	Phase Retreat	Clone		10	Clone. Teleport away from your target, summoning a clone that casts Winds of Chaos.
3	Phantasmal Warlock	Phantasm	0.75¾	15	Phantasm. Summon illusions that deal damage and inflict conditions.
4	Chaos Armor			20	Blind and confuse nearby foes while you gain chaos aura. Chaos aura grants you a random boon and inflicts your foe with a random condition whenever you are struck.
5	Chaos Storm		0.25¼	25	Create a magical storm at the target location that applies random conditions to foes and boons to allies. The first strike of the storm dazes foes.

2	Illusionary Counter	Clone	2	6	Clone. Block the next attack, and counter by inflicting torment and creating clones that cast Ether Bolt.
2	Illusionary Counter, Counterspell  Counterspell	Clone	0.5½		Shoot out a bolt that blinds enemies in a line and summons a clone to attack the first foe it strikes.
3	Confusing Images		20.25¼	9	Channel a beam of energy that damages and confuses your foe.
Sword
1	Mind Slash				Chain. Slash your foe to make them vulnerable.
1	Mind Slash, Mind Gash, Mind Spike  Mind Gash		0.5½		Chain. Gash your foe to make them vulnerable.
1	Mind Slash, Mind Gash, Mind Spike  Mind Spike		0.5½		Stab your foe and rip a boon off of them. Does additional damage when the target has no boons.
2	Blurred Frenzy		1	10	Strike your foe with a flurry of strikes, distorting the space around you, making you evade attacks.
3	Illusionary Leap	Clone	0.5½	12	Clone. Summon an illusion that leaps at your target, crippling them. After the initial leap, the clone will execute the Mind Slash sword chain.
3	Illusionary Leap, Swap  Swap				Swap places with your clone. Immobilize nearby foes.

4	Temporal Curtain		0.25¼	25	Create a wall of energy that grants swiftness to allies who cross it and cripples foes who touch it. Allies may cross the wall more than once but receive less swiftness after the first crossing.
4	Temporal Curtain, Into the Void  Into the Void				Shatter your Temporal Curtain, pulling nearby enemies toward its position.
5	Phantasmal Warden	Phantasm	0.5½	20	Phantasm. Create a phantasm that throws axes at nearby targets and creates a defensive bubble, protecting itself and allies from projectiles.
Pistol
4	Phantasmal Duelist	Phantasm	0.5½	20	Phantasm. Fire multiple crippling bullets at your target and summon an illusion that unloads its pistols on your target.
5	Magic Bullet		0.5½	25	Hit up to four foes with a single shot, inflicting confusion on each foe. In addition, the first target is stunned, the second is dazed, and the third is blinded.
Sword
4	Illusionary Riposte	Clone	20.25¼	12	Clone. Block your foe and create an illusion when attacked.
4	Illusionary Riposte, Counter Blade  Counter Blade		0.75¾		Shoot out a bolt that dazes foes in a line.
5	Phantasmal Swordsman	Phantasm	1	15	Phantasm. Perform a sword strike and create an illusion that attacks your foe. If the sword strike hits, you gain might.
Torch
4	The Prestige			20	Disappear in a cloud of smoke, blinding nearby foes and losing conditions. Reappear three seconds later, burning nearby foes.
5	Phantasmal Mage	Phantasm	0.75¾	20	Phantasm. Strike and burn nearby foes. Create an illusion that releases a massive wave of fire that burns, confuses, and interrupts foes.

	Mantra of Recovery	Mantra	20.25¼	10	Mantra. Meditate, charging a spell that will instantly heal you when activated. Heal yourself and nearby allies when this spell fully charges.
	Mantra of Recovery, Power Return  Power Return			1	Instantly heal yourself. Receive increased healing if you are below the health threshold.
	Mirror	Manipulation	10.25¼	12	Manipulation. Reflect projectiles, and heal yourself.
	Signet of the Ether	Signet	1	30	Signet Passive: Heal yourself whenever you summon an illusion. Signet Active: Heal yourself and reduce the recharge of phantasm skills. Virtuoso: Passive triggers when stocking a blade.

Utility

	Mirror Images	Clone		25	Clone. Summon two clones to attack your foe.
	Feedback	Glamour		32	Glamour. Create a dome around your foes that reflects projectiles.
	Null Field	Glamour	0.25¼	25	Glamour. Create a field of energy that rips boons from foes and cures conditions on allies.
	Portal Entre	Glamour		72	Glamour. Create an entry portal at your location that teleports allies to your exit portal. (Creating a new entrance portal while you have an active portal will destroy the active portal.)
	Portal Entre, Portal Exeunt  Portal Exeunt	Glamour			Glamour. Create an exit portal.
	Veil	Glamour	0.25¼	30	Glamour. Create a wall that grants stealth to you and your allies.
	Arcane Thievery	Manipulation	0.25¼	25	Manipulation. Send conditions you have to your foe and steal their boons. Successfully hitting your target inflicts slow on them while granting you quickness.
	Blink	Manipulation		20	Manipulation. Teleport to a target location.
	Illusion of Life	Manipulation	10.25¼	75	Manipulation. Give allies Illusion of Life at the target location, allowing them to get up from downed state and keep fighting. Fully revives allies if they kill a foe.
	Mimic	Manipulation	0.25¼	20	Manipulation. The next utility skill you use has significantly reduced recharge, and Mimic's recharge is increased by the original recharge of the affected skill. Mimic's recharge cannot be reset by other mesmer skills.
	Mantra of Concentration	Mantra	20.25¼	15	Mantra. Meditate, charging a spell that will break stuns and grant stability to nearby allies. Grant boons to nearby allies when this skill fully charges.
	Mantra of Concentration, Power Break  Power Break			2	Break stuns on yourself and grant stability to nearby allies.
	Mantra of Distraction	Mantra	20.25¼	12	Mantra. Meditate, charging a spell that will daze your target. Diversion's recharge time is partially refunded when this spell fully charges.
	Mantra of Distraction, Power Lock  Power Lock			4	Daze your target and nearby foes.
	Mantra of Pain	Mantra	20.25¼	1	Mantra. Meditate, charging a spell that will damage your target. Grant might to nearby allies when this spell is fully charged.
	Mantra of Pain, Power Spike  Power Spike			1	Damage your target and nearby foes. Inflict vulnerability on foes whose skills aren't active.
	Mantra of Resolve	Mantra	20.25¼	12	Mantra. Meditate, charging a spell that will cure conditions for you and nearby allies. Cure conditions on yourself and nearby allies when this spell fully charges.
	Mantra of Resolve, Power Cleanse  Power Cleanse			1	Remove conditions from you and nearby allies.
	Phantasmal Defender	Phantasm	1	40	Phantasm. Summon an illusion that taunts your target and all nearby targets while blocking. When it finishes blocking, the illusion explodes, dealing increased damage for each attack it blocked.
	Phantasmal Disenchanter	Phantasm	1	20	Phantasm. Summon an illusion that removes boons from targets it hits. This attack deals increased damage against foes without boons.
	Signet of Domination	Signet	0.25¼	45	Signet Passive: Improved condition damage. Signet Active: Stun your foe.
	Signet of Illusions	Signet	10.25¼	60	Signet Passive: Creates a clone every few seconds. Signet Active: Recharges shatter skills.
	Signet of Inspiration	Signet	0.75¾	20	Signet Passive: Grant swiftness and an additional random boon every ten seconds. Signet Active: Extends the duration of all boons on yourself.
	Signet of Midnight	Signet		20	Signet Passive: Improves expertise. Signet Active: Blind nearby foes and stealth yourself.

Elite

	Skill	Type			Description
	Mass Invisibility	Manipulation	10.25¼	35	Manipulation. You and all your allies gain stealth for a short time.
	Signet of Humility	Signet	1	45	Signet Passive: Reduces duration of incoming stuns, dazes, fears, and taunts. Signet Active: Transform your foe into a moa bird. (Defiant foes will have their defiant bar reduced instead.)
	Time Warp	Glamour	0.25¼	120	Glamour. Create an area that warps time, granting you and your allies quickness while slowing enemies.

Downed Skills

1	Mind Blast		0.75¾		Create an explosion of magical energy, confusing your foe.
2	Deception	Clone	0.5½	15	Clone. Shadowstep and create a downed clone of yourself to attack foes in range.
3	Phantasmal Rogue	Phantasm	0.5½	8	Phantasm. Summon a phantasmal rogue that deals increased damage from behind. If the rogue hits, the recharge of this skill is reduced.
4	Bandage		490.25¼	5	Call your allies for help. Restores health while you channel it.
