Power Arms Spellbreaker is a very strong and straightforward build for instanced content. It's also a great pick for solo gameplay, as it can provide itself with good amounts of the most essential offensive boons: Quickness, Fury and Might. With Full Counter, by stacking damage to healing modifiers and maintaining Stability on itself, it becomes incredibly survivable while dishing out strong damage.

Full Counter and Adrenaline Management[edit]
- Full Counter is the key mechanic of Spellbreaker, which gives you access to a short-cooldown Block and performs a riposte when you block, dazing enemies.
- Generally, applying Disables is key to dealing damage on Spellbreaker due to Attacker's Insight, which gives you 50 Power, Precision and Ferocity for each Disable you apply.
- Your Adrenaline will also be limited to two bars, with each Burst skill consuming only one bar.
- That means that burst skills are generally weaker compared to core
warrior or
Berserker, but Spellbreaker compensates that by higher native damage on other skills.

Utility Skills[edit]
| Default Skill | Notes |
|---|---|
| Healing Signet | Precast this to stack up Signet Mastery. |
| Bull's Charge | Triggers both Attacker's Insight and Peak Performance. |
| Signet of Fury | Cast on cooldown for the additional Ferocity, both from its own effect and Signet Mastery. |
| Signet of Might | Just there for the additional Power. You don't need to cast this to maintain 5 stacks of Signet Mastery. |
| Signet of Rage | Precast this to stack up Signet Mastery. |
Gear & Traits[edit]
Important Stats in Hero Panel (descending in Importance):
- At least 25% Critical Chance: Fury, Pinnacle of Strength, Attacker's Insight, Furious Burst, Deep Strikes and Unsuspecting Foe give the remaining 75%.
- Due to the sheer abundance of Critical chance supplied by Arms and Strength, you can run a full set of Dragon's armor and still be way over the cap, leading to a negligible damage difference compared to Berserker's, but a good chunk of additional health.
- Maximize Ferocity
- Maximize Power

- For a budget variant, simply replace all ascended armor pieces of Berserker's with rare/exotic Berserker's.
Open World Build[edit]

For OW, it can make sense to make a build more forgiving, so that you can sustain on your own.
Increasing General Survivability[edit]
- We'll stack a bunch of damage to healing modifiers to become basically immortal as long as one keeps attacking:
- Relic of Zakiros,
- Sun and Moon Style,
- Dual Wielding and
- Optional for even more healing: Might Makes Right paired with Fried Golden Dumpling.
- Make use of Full Counter,
Dodge and Mending as often as possible. - Switch to Brave Stride to cover a full uptime on Stability with Breaching Strike and Aura Slicer!
- Swap out the Mace for an Off-Hand Dagger - Don't underestimated how strong this can be for defense!
- The dagger will trigger the off-hand effect of Sun and Moon Style, healing you for 4% of your Critical damage.
- Bladestorm grants Barrier on every strike, shielding and healing you at the same time.
| Skill Choice | Notes |
|---|---|
| Mending | Great short-cooldown heal that also cleanses a lot of conditions. |
| Frenzy | Stun break with inherent Quickness and Might coverage. |
| Any 2 of the following Signets: Option 1: Signet of Fury Option 2: Dolyak Signet Option 3: Signet of Might Option 4: Signet of Stamina |
Damage and instant Adrenaline Heal, Stability and Emergency Button. Passive damage or easy Might coverage. Strong condition cleanse and endurance regain. |
| Signet of Rage | Easy coverage of Fury, Swiftness and a few stacks of Might. Use it on cooldown in combat. |
Boon & Vulnerability Coverage[edit]
- Since you can't always rely on other people covering boons for you, it can make sense to adjust your build to provide them for yourself, at least the important ones.
- And let's face it: playing a build without Quickness feels horrible. Note: Another great side-effect of using Dual Wielding is that it makes you faster at any time!
- In terms of gear, change as many larger pieces of gear to Diviner's as you can afford. Shoot for around 40-60% Boon duration, that will allow you to maintain most important boons easily.
- Exotic Diviner's trinkets are relatively cheap, they cost around … each, totaling up to … for an Amulet, 2 Rings and 2 Accessories.
| Boon | Sources / Notes |
|---|---|
| General Notes | Using a few larger pieces of Diviner's allows you to maintain all essential boons on yourself. |
| Quickness | With enough Boon duration, using Dual Strike and Frenzy on cooldown provides a full uptime. |
| Might | You cover decent number of stacks via Dagger auto attacks, Frenzy, Magebane Tether, Signet of Might and Signet of Rage. Optional: Fried Golden Dumpling when using Might Makes Right |
| Fury | With enough Boon duration, Signet of Rage and Furious Burst cover a full uptime on Fury. |
| Alacrity | None. |
| Protection | Not covered, you can opt to use Guard Counter for some Protection, but it's usually not required on this build. |
| Resolution | Not covered. |
| Vulnerability | You get some stacks from Bladestorm, but rather unsubstantial. |
| Jade Tech Offensive Overcharge Jade Tech Defensive Overcharge |
Jade Protocols give for 150 additional Toughness, Vitality, Condition Damage and Power as well as all boons aside from Stability, Resistance and Resolution for 10 seconds on entering combat, once every 30 seconds. They make covering boons on yourself a lot easier! |
Dealing with Conditions and Control effects[edit]
| Default Skill | Notes |
|---|---|
| Control effects | Both Frenzy and Dolyak Signet are short cooldown Stun breaks. When paired with Brave Stride, Aura Slicer and Breaching Strike will provide a great uptime on Stability. Full Counter also provides short Stability on cast. |
| Condition cleanses | You only have one source of condition cleansing: Mending. If you need more, you can replace any other signet with Signet of Stamina. |
