'Booter's Path is a mini-dungeon located in Twisting Hollows, starting at The 'Booter's Path point of interest.

Getting there

From  Pub Canach Waypoint — travel north and west to the Twisting Hollows where the Hammerhart Rumble! takes place. The entrance is on the northern side of the Hollows, at The 'Booter's Path point of interest.

Walkthrough

To enter, interact with the crates of Freebooter Clothes near the entrance for transformation. Do not lose the transformation, you will be kicked to the very beginning. You will retain your combat abilities throughout.

First Area If you fall, you may have to deal with any number of Shark mobs and if you're lucky, Ol' Bootlicker. Turn right and follow path counter-clockwise with simple jumps along cliff wall. You will then jump onto a beam which you cross to a stone platform. From this platform, there are a series of vertical posts you need to jump across. Continue onward to horizontal round beams, jump across to next stone platform. There are two more vertical posts, but you can glide across to the next stone platform. Next is another cross-beam to opposite side with boat wreckage which you need to get across to the next horizontal beams toward the next area. (Possible shortcut - using glider with boosts to get to the stone platform into the next area?) Follow narrow tunnel to second area. Second Area Barrels will crush and knock you around. Time them right with running and gliding to get across to another tunnel framed by tree roots. Follow to left, and you will be confronted with Pendulums. These will damage you more, and knock you around as well. Falling to the water, you can climb out to the beginning of the Pendulum run. Get across to the circular, stone platform and rest before moving to the next tunnel. You can stop between pendulums, but the margin is very small. Between first & second pendulums - third board only Between third and fourth pendulums - very end of skinny, round beam after gap. But do not hesitate, jump right away forward. Follow tunnel around to the left to next area. Third Area Tar. You can walk across it, but will get slowed until you are stuck and have to fight your way out. There are barrels and some areas around that you can jump to and rest on. Cannons will fire and knock you around while causing burning damage, so be quick. You have to find a Door Key (is in a bag on the ground somewhere) to open the door to exit the area. The key spawns in different places once looted by anyone, so be aware when others are also trying to get it. Once teleported through the door, follow the tunnel, watching for falling rocks. You will cross a bridge, and in the next room filled with gold coins is the Magnificent Chest. Open the chest for the Freebooter Initiate achievement. Follow the tunnel to the exit where you are greeted by other 'tired' Freebooter Initiates. The tunnel leads to an alcove above the First Area. If you try to use this alcove as a shortcut to the chest, you will be kicked outside with the message: Don't be a scallywag! Complete the course fairly.

Notes

Anomaly:

The Daily 'Booter's Path Jumping Puzzle achievement refers to the beginning jumping portion of the mini-dungeon and is rewarded upon completion of that section.

• Periodically, NPC Freebooters will run past you accomplishing near impossible jumps, don't follow them.
• Breaking the transformation in any way will kick you back to the beginning.
• It is possible to use the alcove as skip if you use Blink (aim for the last Freebooter at maximum range). This is probably not intended and might get fixed.
