On behalf of the Wizard's Vault, investigate the Inquest's interference with the coral reefs of Castora.In distant Castora, something yet dwells beneath the waves. Objectives: 11 objectives in total 1. Purchase the Coral Heart Quest License from the Wizard's Vault. 2. Speak with Field Archivist Cierle in Shipwreck Strand. 3. Triangulate reef activity by completing events across Castora. 4. Return to Field Archivist Cierle. 5. Use your skimmer's Aetherlocation skill near the marked reef. 6. Use your skimmer's Aetherlocation skill to track down the missing coral heart. 7. Find the stolen coral heart within Laboratory CAS-U-5. 8. Return to Field Archivist Cierle. 9. Renew the wounded coral heart by cleansing it in the seneschal's font in Starlit Weald, revealed after succeeding in the Subdue Gwyllian, Seneschal of the Forest meta-event. 10. Restore the ruined reef by returning the healed coral heart to its home in Shipwreck Strand. 11. Confer with Field Archivist Cierle.	Completed 11 Steps	10

Bug:

While the sub-achievement can be earned on other maps, completion credit for step 3 is only checked while in Shipwreck Strand.

Walkthrough

	Objective	Notes
1	Purchase the Coral Heart Quest License from the Wizard's Vault.	Purchased in the Wizard's Vault — Legacy Rewards for 1,200 .
2	Speak with Field Archivist Cierle in Shipwreck Strand.	Speak with Field Archivist Cierle south-east of  Dark Leviathan Waypoint — .
3	Triangulate reef activity by completing events across Castora.	Complete the Castoran Coral: Inquest Investigation achievement by doing 10 events across Castora. Rift Hunting is a swift way to do this, as each rift is a quick 2-event chain.
4	Return to Field Archivist Cierle.	Return and speak with Field Archivist Cierle.
5	Use your skimmer's Aetherlocation skill near the marked reef.	The marked reef is a gold circle marked on your map near  Leystone Promontory — . Look for a piece of Ruined Reef at the center of the circle, on the sea floor.
6	Use your skimmer's Aetherlocation skill to track down the missing coral heart.	Follow the gold circles marked on your map. They will update as you approach each fragment. The final location is hidden in the wall—swim through where you see the achievement quest marker. At the gate, all responses lead to the same ending. Following, at the Desk Entity, you may enter as a guest.
7	Find the stolen coral heart within Laboratory CAS-U-5.	At the end of the Laboratory CAS-U-5 maze there will be a Coral heart. When you get near there will be 3 waves of veteran Inquest that will attack. After the attack, you can investigate the heart.
8	Return to Field Archivist Cierle.	Return and speak with Field Archivist Cierle.
9	Renew the wounded coral heart by cleansing it in the seneschal's font in Starlit Weald, revealed after succeeding in the Subdue Gwyllian, Seneschal of the Forest meta-event.	Complete the Secrets of the Weald meta-event in Starlit Weald. After the meta, when the platform has fully descended, you'll see The Seneschal's Font.
10	Restore the ruined reef by returning the healed coral heart to its home in Shipwreck Strand.	Go to where the golden circle is on the map, near  Leystone Promontory — , and interact with the Ruined Reef again.
11	Confer with Field Archivist Cierle.	Return and speak with Field Archivist Cierle.

The Astral Ward's expedition to Castora has resulted in a large influx of recordkeeping for the Wizard's Vault and new issues to investigate. A developing situation is beyond the means of our scouts, so I would like to recruit your capable hands to the task. Ward and Tyrian Alliance scholars believe the Castoran coral reefs are a vital part of the local arcane ecosystem, potentially cultivated by the island's original residents. However, the latest reporting suggests local Inquest experiments may be targeting this critical system. This field operation has been filed under the name "Castoran Coral." In return for your assistance, you will be eligible to take ownership of any recovered artifacts or magic at or below the level we classify as "locally threatening." Please rendezvous with Field Archivist Cierle in Shipwreck Strand at your earliest opportunity if you wish to participate. —Vivienne
