Walkthrough[edit]
Seer Forge[edit]
Teleport to Pilgrim's Rest Waypoint — , head northwest to the south of The Forge — and enter the Seer Forge instance. Walk north and speak to Canach, then interact with the Forge Table southwest after a short dialogue.
Interact with Detailed Instructions and construct the bypass device with Canach. There are 3 workstations: Metalworking Station, Preparation Station and Finishing Station, each provide 3 different functions.
| Workstation | Metalworking Station | Preparation Station | Finishing Station |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dialogue | I need to use the hammer function. | I need to ablate a component. | I need to have a component polished. |
| I need to use the molding function. | I have a component that needs extraction. | I have a component that requires a coating. | |
| I need to use the rolling function. | I have a component that requires leaching. | One of my components needs to be plated. |
To get the Meticulous Craftsperson achievement, follow the steps below:
| # | Objects | Action 1 | Action 2 | Action 3 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1-2 | Chunk of Pyrite | Metalworking - Hammer | Canach | - |

Activate the forge by interacting with Seer Forge Controls, then pick up the Anti-Magic Device and leave the instance.
Ritual Grounds[edit]
From Sanctum Exterior Waypoint — , head north to the west of Issvano's Reliquary — to enter the Ritual Grounds instance.
Head west and follow the green arrow on the minimap to take a path upstairs. After a short dialogue at the destination, interact with Seer Gate Terminal. It will tell you to find the missing Seer Crystal, which is at the west of The All Seer — . The exact location varies, but most likely near the northwest/southwest of the border. Take the crystal to the terminal and open the gate.
Enter the gate and head east, then north, lastly west to the room with a path upwards and surrounded by the walls. Walk along the path and glide the ley line to Spire of Exaltation — . Head south to interact with Vloxx's Barrier and back to Canach to avoid the damage of anti-magic device. Head south to open the gate and enter the building. Above the stairs is the next instance, Empyreal Threshold.
Empyreal Threshold[edit]
Climb the steps to trigger the dialogue, and you are asked to take trials. Teleportation skills are viable in all trials and won't affect eligibilities of achievements. Swiftness and other movement-speed enhancers can make these trials easier.
Physical Trials (Stalwart Candidate)[edit]
The walkthrough explains each trial starts from the northeast in clockwise.
- Trial of Endurance (northeast)
- It requires you to take 3 Seer Power Nodes to the Seer Power Sockets, while walking through the floor that pumps massive damage, Burning and Chilled periodically. massively decrease endurance regeneration, and decrease maximum endurance, so completing the trial is easiest with movement-based healing, utility, or elite skills. Alternatively non-weapon skills which provide shadowstep to a targeted area, such as Shift Signet, can be used to bypass the dangerous tiles.
- Death disqualifies one for the Stalwart Candidate achievement.
- Trial of Speed (east)
- Take the Uncharged Seer Power Node and walk along the path. Turn right at the crossroads and walk through Seer Energy Field, the road leads you back to the same crossroads. Turn left, walk along and insert the node to the socket to finish the trial.
- Alternately simply follow the wisp of light.
- Trial of Senses (southeast)
- It requires you to take 3 Seer Power Nodes to the Seer Power Sockets, while stepping on the correct tile of the floor send you back to the start. The correct tiles are different on each power node.
- Steps on red/incorrect tiles disqualifies one for the Stalwart Candidate achievement.
- Trial of Balance (southwest)
- It requires you to take a jumping puzzle with movable parts.
- Pick up the Seer Power Node and insert into the socket, then interact with Cube Controller once. Take the node and jump to the next platform with the socket.
- Insert the node, interact with the controller once. Take the node and jump to the next platform.
- Insert the node, interact with the controller twice. Take the node and jump to the last platform.
- Insert the node to complete the trial.
- Falls off the structure to a lower level or the floor disqualifies one for the Stalwart Candidate achievement.
- Trial of Strength (west)
- Obtain Heavy Blocks from the Seer Terminal and use them on Pressure Plates to move the obstacles away. A total of 4 sockets need to be filled with nodes.
- Dropping the heavy block bundle or power node bundle once picked up disqualifies for the Stalwart Candidate achievement.
- In other words, heavy blocks should only be picked up if an unused pressure plate has been noticed and power nodes should only be picked up once the end is directly reachable.
- Trial of Dexterity (northwest)
- It's similar to trial of senses, but the correct tiles are not decide by nodes but the color of the tiles. Correct tiles are green and change periodically, while stepping on the red tiles will send you back to the start.
- Steps on red tiles disqualifies one for the Stalwart Candidate achievement.
Once completed the Physical Trials, head back to center-north and interact with Seer Platform Controls for the second floor.
Mental Trials (Astute Candidate)[edit]
The walkthrough explains each trial starts from the north in clockwise.
- Trial of Intellect (north)
- Take curved pipe segment from the terminal and place them to Missing Pipe Segments while every pipe is connected. Some straight pipes also need to be repaired.
- Repairing the pipes while holding a curved segment disqualifies one for the Astute Candidate achievement.
- Simply repair the straight pipes before placing down the curve segments.
- Trial of Willpower (east)
- Simply take power nodes to sockets while ignoring Treasure Pile in the middle.
- Interacting with the pile disqualifies one for the Astute Candidate achievement.
- The pile gives you 100 "Gold", 1,000 "Gold", or 100,000 "Gold" depending on the amount of nodes carried over.
- Trial of Memory (south)
- This is the 5-button Simon says minigame, completing it on Seer Tomes gives nodes. Insert all 3 of them to sockets to finish the trial.
- Any skill used out of order disqualifies one for the Astute Candidate achievement.
- Trial of Wit (west)
- Simply answer questions from seer ghosts:
- Aeming: select
The answer is time.—That would be the wind.—Our first breath and our last. - Destro: select
(pick any option)—Yes, the odds favor it. - Reatalle: select
The room of beasts.—He waited for the tide to go out so he could walk to the other island.—Twelve. - Pugine: select
That is the gambler's fallacy.—This is shifting the burden of proof.—You're arguing from personal incredulity, not logic.
- Aeming: select
- Selecting the wrong answer disqualifies one for the Astute Candidate achievement.
Once completed the Mental Trials, head north to Seer Platform Controls for the third floor. Head south towards Vloxx to trigger the dialogue, and he will push you away and send you back to Spire of Exaltation. The chapter completes after a cutscene with some dialogue.

Dialogue[edit]
[edit]
- Entering the instance
- Canach: Found everything?
- (if player is an Engineer)
- <Character name>: Pyrite powder, caustic fluids... If I didn't know better, I'd say you were building a bomb.
- (otherwise) [verification requested]
- <Character name>: I think so, but what is all this for?
- Canach: More than one thing I've been after has been behind a barrier, so I've built a few devices in my day to get past them.
- Canach: This will operate on a similar principle, but we'll need to scale the payload up...significantly.
- Canach: Luckily, the forge here should be just the yield enhancer we need.
- After placing items on the table
- Canach: I've written out some instructions for you to follow while I work on the more...delicate components.
- Canach: This is a very precise device, so make sure you follow the steps exactly.
- Canach: There's also a tome there about how this forge actually works. Hopefully that helps as well.
- Interacting with the Detailed Instructions
Commander,
The following steps must be completed in order and with the utmost care and precision. There is some amount of danger if we do not proceed with caution and handle each item appropriately. We wouldn't want to scald that pretty face of yours. And by scald, I imply uncertain death.
Step One: First, you must take the sample of pyrite and break it down to a fine powder using the metalworking station's hammering function.
Step Two: Once you have the pyrite powder, bring it to me, and I'll prepare it for the next phase.
Step Three: While I'm working on that, you can extract the magical components, ideally using the following sequence, as that will create the most potent reaction:
- Use the preparation station to extract the ley energy.
- Next, use the preparation station to extract the seer magic.
- Finally, use the metalworking station to crack open the Inquest magitech container using the hammering function. Then use the preparation station to extract the energy.
Step Four: Once those are done, return to me. I should have what you need for the next steps.
Step Five: Take the solution that I give you and CAREFULLY use it with the following components at the preparation and metalworking stations. As before, completing these steps in the following sequence will produce the strongest chemical reaction:
- Before you can do any leaching, you must add the caustic solution to the preparation station.
- Hammer the saltpeter until it's crushed. If you've added the caustic solution to the station already, you should be able to leach the crushed saltpeter.
- Do the same and hammer the alum crystal into small chips. Then, you can leach them.
- Repeat the above steps with the oxidized copper hunk, but instead of hammering it first, you need to ablate it at the preparation station. After that, you can leach the refined oxidized copper hunk.
Step Six: While you are creating those components, I will take the crude oil and work it to create what we need. You needn't do anything with it, love.
Step Seven: Take the power cell to the preparation station and extract its power core.
Step Eight: Take the sheet metal to the metalworking station and choose the molding function-don't worry, I've already installed the casting shape we'll need. Then, take the molded casing to the finishing station and use the coat function on it to reinforce the material.
Step Nine: Take the hourglass to the finishing station; you'll want to apply a plating to the item.
Step Ten: Finally, take the leather straps to the finishing station and apply a good polish to make sure that it's supple and strong enough to use for carrying the device.
- Canach: All right, now to just carefully tamp down the powder...
- Canach: I hope this essence doesn't leak out early.
- Canach: It should go without saying, but try not to shake this thing too much when you're carrying it.
- Canach: Ah, this takes me back.
- Interacting with the Seer Tome
- Seer Tome: This dense tome contains detailed instructions for using the seer forge. It is divided into three main sections, each representing a step in the forging process.
- Read the section on ingredient preparation.
- "One of the key stages of forging an object of power is the preparation of the individual components." This section contains entries on ablating, extracting, and leaching.
- Open to the section on ablating.
- "Ablating is the process of removing excess material from the object until only the pure form remains, resulting in optimal power potentiality."
- Return to other forms of preparation.
- Stop reading.
- Open to the section on extracting.
- "Extracting is the process of separating any foreign matter from the item so that only the desired material is present, which solves the problem of corruption."

- After hammering pyrite
- Canach: Bring me some of that powdered pyrite, would you? Trying to get the mix just right here.
- When caustic solution is ready
- Canach: Commander, I've prepared the caustic solution you'll need next.
- After taking the caustic solution
- Canach: Do be careful not to get any of that on you. Can't save the world if you're, ah...dissolved.
- When components are all prepared
- Canach: That's everything. I'll let you do the honors, Commander.
- Seer Forge Controls: These controls will activate the forging process with all internal components. Proceed?
- Activate the forge.
- After activating the forging process
- Canach: The others are going to stay here and focus on the main Inquest force, which should keep them off our backs.
- Canach: So it looks like it's just the two of us
- <Character name>: Hopefully we're enough. We don't have time to wait for backup.
[edit]
- Upon entering the instance
- Canach: I'd have met you at the top, but that giant statue is active again.
- Canach: We're going to have to proceed carefully if we're going to pull this off.
- <Character name>: Let's hope this plan works. Doubt we'll have time for a second try.
- Canach: Have I ever steered you wrong before?
Optional (Ascension's End)[edit]
- Upon entering the room in the north
- Canach: Time is a bit of a factor here, Commander.
- Talking to the Lost Seer Spirit
- Lost Seer Spirit: You've returned? I've learned so much since we spoke last.
- Lost Seer Spirit: I know that I ask a lot of you...but would you be willing to help this lost soul once more?
- Lost Seer Spirit: I am gladdened to sense your presence once more. I believe I know the path that lies before me now... If you would help guide and protect me, I would be eternally grateful.
- I would be honored to help you again. (escorting starts)
- If you don't mind my asking, what changed since we last spoke?
- In showing me the pieces of another's path, you've helped me remember my own. In my desperation and centuries or more of wandering... I conflated the two. I now know that I must go to my rest. Forever.
- I would be honored to help you again. (same as above)
- Give me a moment.
- Perhaps some other time.
- The first enemy group
- Lost Seer Spirit: This place... It has become twisted by something dark. The halls quake at our approach.
- Lost Seer Spirit: My friend, look out!
- The second enemy group
- Lost Seer Spirit: The All Seer. I sense a malevolent corruption at Its heart, and it lashes out in pain and desperation. Prepare yourself.
- At the destination
- Lost Seer Spirit: The shadowstone! Oh, my friend, countless centuries have I wandered these halls in distress.
- Lost Seer Spirit: You have given me the gift of eternity. I will go now and join my forbears. Thank you.
Back to the main storyline[edit]
- When reaching the The All Seer
- <Character name>: You were right, the All Seer is definitely active. Doesn't seem to have noticed us, though, at least.
- Canach: Probably best we ignore it for now. Doubt we could do anything to it regardless.
- When reaching the gate to the temple
- <Character name>: They must have locked everything down. Now what?
- Canach: I think those are the controls over there. Hopefully they still work.
- Interacting with the Seer Gate Terminal
- <Character name>: Isgarren, are you there? This place is locked down now; I can't even get to the barrier.
- <Character name>: There's some kind of gate-control device here, but it's missing a critical component.
- Isgarren: We often stored the magical signature of such devices in a separate matrix. A key of sorts, if you will.
- <Character name>: Then where did they take it?
- Isgarren: Vloxx could not have taken it with him inside; the gate was open then, was it not?
- <Character name>: That's a good point. It must still be outside somewhere.
- Seer Gate Terminal: (This terminal appears to be connected to the nearby gate. There is a socket where a crystal would seem to fit in the center of the mechanism, but it is currently missing.)
- I'll need to find the missing piece.
- When approaching The All Seer
- <Character name>: Need to avoid its defenses until I can find this key.
- When picking up the Seer Crystal
- <Character name>: This has to be it.
- Return the crystal to the arcane terminal.
- Seer Gate Terminal: (This terminal appears to be connected to the nearby gate. There is a socket where a crystal would seem to fit in the center of the mechanism, but it is currently missing.)
- (Place the crystal into the terminal.)
- (The crystal slots into the mechanism with a soft click, and buttons on the surface begin to glow. The center button pulses intermittently, as if waiting for input.)
- (Press the glowing button.)
- I'll need to return with the missing crystal.
- After opening the gate
- <Character name>: Finally! Now let's just hope there's still time.
- After starting to plant the Anti-Magic Device
- <Character name>: Did you give us enough time to get clear of this?
- Canach:That depends on how fast you run.
- After the device detonates
- <Character name>: That did it! Now I'd better hurry.
- Canach: I'll stand watch out here and hold them off as long as I can. Good luck, Commander.
- <Character name>: Just don't get yourself killed, all right?
[edit]
- Upon entering Empyreal Threshold
- <Character name>: Where...am I?
- Going up the ramp
- Divitium Oracle: Bow your head, for you walk in the footsteps of the divine.
- Divitium Oracle: You have been chosen for this blessed cause, to lead and guide this world as only we can.
- Divitium Oracle: But the mantle of divinity is heavier than you can know.
- Divitium Oracle: These trials will determine if you are strong enough to bear it.
- Divitium Oracle: We are glorious essence housed in meager shells. But what have you done with what you've been given?
- Divitium Oracle: To exalt one's spirit, one must first exalt one's body. Have you elevated it, that your soul might be elevated with it?
- Divitium Oracle: The trials will answer for you. If your flesh fails you, take comfort that your spirit will be burdened by it no longer.
- Reaching the Trial of Balance (southwest)
- Divitium Oracle: There are always more facets than our eyes can perceive. We must be willing to change our perspective instead.
- Divitium Oracle: When the path already exists, will your eyes help you find it or lead you astray?
- Reaching the Trial of Strength (west)
- Divitium Oracle: Strength of the body is the vital partner of strength of the mind.
- Divitium Oracle: Many are the problems that cleverness cannot solve, but vigor and might can.
- Divitium Oracle: Above all else, remember this: power is the only truth.
- Seer Terminal: (This seer terminal has controls for magically creating a heavy stone block. The terminal indicates that there is a limit of four blocks that can be dispensed.)
- (if player has not dispensed four heavy blocks yet)
- I need a heavy block.
- (if player has already dispensed four heavy blocks)
- It looks like I've reached the limit.
- (Leave the console.)
- Reaching the Trial of Dexterity (northwest)
- Divitium Oracle: The nimble one's feet often outpace their mind. The graceless one's wisdom is too slow to act.
- Divitium Oracle: Can you take each step only once you are certain of where to place it?
- Reaching the Trial of Endurance (northeast)
- Divitium Oracle: Once the mantle is taken up, it will never be lifted from your shoulders.
- Divitium Oracle: Do you have the fortitude to carry it, no matter what befalls you?
- Reaching the Trial of Speed (east)
- Divitium Oracle: One must have the capacity for contemplation, but also the insight to know when expediency is required.
- Divitium Oracle: Great wisdom is of no use if the problem outruns you.
- Reaching the Trial of Senses (southeast)
- Divitium Oracle: We must base our choices always on reality, and our senses are the only method we possess to perceive it.
- Divitium Oracle: No matter how the mind grows, that connection to the material world must stay honed as well.
- Seer Power Socket: (This open socket appears to feed power into the nearby tethering mechanism. The grooves on the inside of the socket look unique, as though it requires a specific shape.)
- This must need a specific node.
- After completing all physical trials
- Divitium Oracle: Your body has not failed you, but that is always the lesser danger. Will your mind fare as well?
- Divitium Oracle: Return to the center and ascend. The trials continue.
- <Character name>: How much more of this is there?
- <Character name>: I really hope I'm not too late to stop him.
- Seer Platform Controls: (This console appears to control the mechanism that raises the central plat form to the next level. The controls are ready to be activated.)
- (Raise the platform to the next level.)
- (Remain on this level for now.)
- Reaching the upper floor
- Divitium Oracle: Many a scholar or sage has walked this path, only for their mind to shatter when faced with the scale of eternity.
- Divitium Oracle: Do you have the intellect to comprehend truth, the wisdom to use it, and the willpower to survive it?
- Divitium Oracle: The answer exists already. The trials will merely reveal it.
- Reaching the Trial of Intellect (north)
- Divitium Oracle: For all your life, you've been trying to solve a puzzle while only seeing a small fraction of it.
- Divitium Oracle: When you finally see the full scale of eternity, will your mind be able to decipher it?
- Seer Terminal: (This seer terminal monitors the energy flow for the chamber. It can also be used for magically creating replacement pipe segments.)
- I need a curved pipe segment.
- (Leave the console.)
- Reaching the Trial of Willpower (east)
- Divitium Oracle: Great will be the temptations faced by the exalted. But we must never lose sight of our purpose.
- Divitium Oracle: Divinity belongs only to those with the strength of will to sacrifice everything else.
- Reaching the Trial of Memory (south)
- Divitium Oracle: To understand all things, we must remember all things. Knowledge learned but forgotten is of no value.
- Divitium Oracle: Will your mind be able to hold the fullness of eternity, or will it rupture like a clay jar?
- Reaching the Trial of Wit (west)
- Divitium Oracle: Great knowledge without great cunning is easily misled and betrayed.
- Divitium Oracle: The divine must never be outwitted.
- Aeming: Behold, candidate. You stand before Aeming, patron of conundrums. Do you think yourself capable of convincing me to connect my power to the tether?
- I accept your challenge.
- Very well. We begin with something simple. What is it that has the power to both heal you as well as kill you, but without touching you?
- The answer is time.
- Correct. Next, what is it that can deafen your ears, quicken your steps or slow you, and even knock you over, all while remaining unseen?
- That would be the wind.
- Well done. Finally, during our mortal lives, there are two moments that happen to each soul that said soul will not remember. What are they?
- Our first breath and our last.
- You have passed my tests, candidate. I will add my power to the tether. May the path of divinity be all that you require.
- Thank you.
- I answer: our first love, and our first loss. (same as "The answer is poison.")
- Falling asleep and waking. (same as "The answer is poison.")
- Sounds like blood pressure. (same as "The answer is poison.")
- Surely the answer must be love. (same as "The answer is poison.")
- The answer is a ghost. (same as "The answer is poison.")
- The answer is poison.
- That is not correct. You have proven yourself incapable of grasping the obvious.
- Can I try again? (returns to the first question)
- I need time to think.
- Let me think about it.
- Destro: I am Destro, patron of syllogism. Are you prepared to answer my challenge, candidate?
- I am. Present your challenge.
- Before you stand three doors; behind one is great power, behind the other two, deadly traps. You must pick one, then you will be offered a second choice.
- I pick the first door.
- Your host, knowing the contents of each, reveals one of the trapped doors and offers you the chance to switch your closed door for the other closed door. Is it wise for you to do so?
- Yes, the odds favor it.
- Good, you have learned to trust your logic over your first instincts. I will add my power to the tether. May you reach divinity in this life.
- Glad I don't need to explain it to anyone else, at least.
- It doesn't matter, they're equally likely to be right. (same as "No, the odds favor my current door.")
- No, the odds favor my current door.
- You have fallen for the trap of intuition. Often the truth is unintuitive, but that makes it no less true. Will you try again?
- Yes, I wish to try again. (returns to the first question)
- I'll come back to this later.
- I pick the second door. (same as "I pick the first door.")
- I pick the third door. (same as "I pick the first door.")
- Perhaps later.
- Reatalle: You stand before Reatalle, patron of intuition. Do you wish to prove yourself worthy of my challenge? If you succeed, I will connect to the tether, and you will stand one step closer to ascension.
- I will answer your challenge.
- You must enter one of three rooms. In the first, fire traps line the floor. The second has beasts that haven't eaten for months. The third is empty but emits a noxious smell. Which room do you enter?
- The room of beasts.
- With no food, the beasts have probably died. A human is stranded alone on a small island, with a larger island nearby. Without transportation, swimming, or assistance, he gets to the larger island. How?
- He waited for the tide to go out so he could walk to the other island.
- A farmer maintains a den of twelve beasts. One night, a great chill comes and kills all but nine of the beasts. How many beasts will he find in the den the next morning?
- Twelve.
- Yes, there are still twelve beasts: Nine alive, three dead. You have proven yourself capable of careful and precise thinking. I will add my power to the tether.
- Thank you, Reatalle.
- Yes, there are still twelve beasts: Nine alive, three dead. You have proven yourself capable of careful and precise thinking. I will add my power to the tether.
- Nine. (same as "The room with the noxious smell.")
- Three. (same as "The room with the noxious smell.")
- He found a fallen tree and used it to float over. (same as "The room with the noxious smell.")
- He used a levitation spell to cross the distance. (same as "The room with the noxious smell.")
- The room containing the fire traps. (same as "The room with the noxious smell.")
- The room with the noxious smell.
- Your intuition has failed you, and you have failed this test. But there is still time to test yourself again, if you are willing.
- I will try again. (returns to the first question)
- I need a break for a moment.
- I'm not quite ready for this.
- Pugine: I am Pugine, patron of disputation. I will present you with arguments. You will correctly identify the fallacy in my reasoning. Succeed and you will secure my power to add to the tether.
- I accept your challenge.
- The last fifteen candidates for the rite have failed, but this is no cause for concern, as that makes the next more likely to succeed.
- That is the gambler's fallacy.
- Power must be shared with the other people of Tyria, because this will probably be good unless you can demonstrate that it will be bad.
- This is shifting the burden of proof.
- The idea that our enemies could ever truly threaten us is preposterous. Such a thing is unimaginable.
- You're arguing from personal incredulity, not logic.
- Well done. You have correctly identified the flaws in my arguments, proving you possess an insightful mind. I will share my power to assist you.
- That was interesting. Thank you.
- That's clearly an argument from ignorance. (same as "This sounds like an appeal to purity to me.")
- You're appealing to emotion. (same as "This sounds like an appeal to purity to me.")
- You're using a straw-man argument. (same as "This sounds like an appeal to purity to me.")
- This is the optimist's paradox. (same as "This sounds like an appeal to purity to me.")
- That line of reasoning is a slippery slope. (same as "This sounds like an appeal to purity to me.")
- This sounds like an appeal to purity to me.
- Your reasoning in this matter is flawed. You may make another attempt if you believe you can fix your mental deficiencies.
- Give me another chance. (returns to the first question)
- I need to brush up on my logical reasoning.
- After completing all mental trials
- Divitium Oracle: You have passed your trials, blessed chosen. You stand now at the glorious gate.
- Divitium Oracle: May you reach true power on the other side.
- Approaching Vloxx
- <Character name>: Vloxx!
- Back at Ritual Grounds
- Director Vloxx: The mantle...is as heavy as they said. And the scope of the vision is even more vast.
- Director Vloxx: Come, Commander. You do not need to be afraid.
- Overseer Kuda: Director! You've done it?
- Overseer Kuda: Well, you don't look very different.
- Overseer Kuda: No matter, you've accomplished your goal. Now it's time to elevate the Inquest as well.
- Director Vloxx: I would sooner elevate a cockroach to rule over Tyria than you and your Inquest.
- Overseer Kuda: What? How dare you! This is my right! I am the true—
- Director Vloxx: You are nothing. Your atoms are lesser for being part of you.
- Director Vloxx: I should change their pattern into something better.
- Director Vloxx: Unfortunately I see now that the equations of reality will just make more mistakes like you.
- Director Vloxx: But those equations, too, can be changed.
- Overseer Kuda: You won't get away with this! The Inquest are mine, do you hear me?
- Director Vloxx: Then take them.
- (Vloxx teleports Kuda and her team away)
- <Character name>: So what now?
- Director Vloxx: I have been trying to cleanse the water at the mouth of the delta, when the poison enters at the wellspring.
- Director Vloxx: I can remove the corrupt from power, but more will just take their place.
- Director Vloxx: The crack isn't just in them, it's in everything.
- Director Vloxx: There is an error in the code of creation, propagated outward from the very beginning and...
- Director Vloxx: I can't explain it. I couldn't have understood it myself before now.
- Director Vloxx: My vision was too narrow to see that the flaw is fundamental.
- <Character name>: What does that leave? If the crack is in the foundation of reality, then...
- Director Vloxx: Then I'm going to repair it. One change, and I can be done.
- Director Vloxx: This is it, you see? The chance to reforge Tyria into something unbreakable.
- Director Vloxx: The culmination of everything we've worked for.
- <Character name>: It sounds like you're talking about altering the very nature of existence, Vloxx.
- Director Vloxx: Yet, if I do not, we will stay trapped in this cycle forever, until oblivion overtakes us.
- Director Vloxx: I will not let us walk quietly into the dark. Not while I have the power to stop it.
- Director Vloxx: Don't worry, Commander. When you see it as I have, the magnitude of the problem, you'll understand.
- Director Vloxx: I must go ahead to prepare. But I will wait for you there. You deserve to see it.
- Director Vloxx: Tyria's salvation is as much your victory as mine.
- <Character name>: Vloxx, wait!
- (Vloxx snaps his finger and teleports away)
- <Character name>: This isn't how you save the world...
Trivia[edit]
