Head Experimenter Rhianwyn or Head Researcher Rhianwyn is a sylvari member of the Astral Ward who can be found in the Bastion of the Obscure. She currently runs the Bastion in the absence of a Wizard's Court leader.

During the Tyrian Alliance's excursion to Mistburned Barrens, she is assigned by Isgarren to investigate the Spectral Agony flooding the Valley of Agony. She successfully binds a mursaat Jade Construct to her will to safely search the valley and assists fellow adventurers in defeating the vengeful mursaat ghost Yagon. Rhianwyn is also revealed to have been a Nightmare Courtier prior to joining the Ward.

I was fighting some Kryptis in the Spiritual Center and picked it up.

It is odd, as though it comes from another time or place. Strange things end up in this bastion, but I will say it reminds me a bit of someone who visited us once. A man named Turai.

Indeed. Turai Ossa, a storied figure for many. He was here at one point—whether in spirit or not, I could not say...

Do you know what he was doing here?

I couldn't say for sure, but I believe he left a journal that Isgarren took. Maybe check his quarters in the tower.
