Walkthrough[edit]
Mechanics[edit]
- All players are affected by Frozen Soil effect, which prevents them from resurrecting.
- If a player dies or joins an instance that has already started, they will enter Wisp Form with the special skills below. Some abilities are only available with certain masteries unlocked. These players are invulnerable and may heal, buff, or revive downed players.
- Some of Decima's attacks can damage wisps.
- When a player dies in wisp form, they enter wisp form again with full health.
- If a player dies or joins an instance that has already started, they will enter Wisp Form with the special skills below. Some abilities are only available with certain masteries unlocked. These players are invulnerable and may heal, buff, or revive downed players.
- Before the Convergence starts, a confirmation needs to be done by speaking with Distant Memory where players can vote on starting or waiting longer.
- Collecting stacks of Calibrated Essence will also give players Aetheric Adrenaline effects. A bonus for their warclaw.
- Calibrated Essence can be exchanged for Wizard's Blessing with Wizard's Blessing mastery.
- There are some tweaks that will change the gameplay in each instance:
- During the thumper phase, at 33% of the progress bar, the weather in each instance will randomly alternate between a sandstorm, a snowstorm, a thunderstorm, or volcano eruptions.
- At 66% of the progress bar, the weather will be overwritten by the Mists Tide.
- During the chasing phases, the route to the next location will be random. The boss fight will always start and finish at Ura's Throne, while the second and the third locations will alternate between Decima's Stormfield and Greer's Lab.

Phase 1: Escort[edit]
- While escorting Distant Memory and Pack Dolyak up the mountain, titanspawn enemies will be encountered on the path up. There will be two waves of Titanspawn Bombers that will rush to the Pack Dolyak to explode and kill it. The Pack Dolyak can be healed back up, sped up with Swiftness or Superspeed, but will always stop when one of the waves spawns. Reaching Base Camp will finish this phase. The NPCs will talk and build for a while, preparing for the next phase.
- Tip: After reaching the Base Camp, during the preparation phase, players can move ahead along the mountain path and break the Unstable Wall to pre-stack the Calibrated Essence effect.
Phase 2: Thumpers[edit]
- After a base is set, Supply Crates can be taken from Calibration Thumper Supplies from where the Pack Dolyak once was. These supplies need to be taken to the other 5 locations on the map. While dragging these supplies, players will receive the Attached Supplies effect, showing them that they are pulling supplies. If they move too far away from their supplies, they will receive the Rope Tension effect, which causes the rope to break at four stacks. Once at the other marked locations, the Sniff skill will become available. This skill starts the construction of the thumpers when used. A total of 5 supplies need to be pulled to the construction sites to create a thumper. Not all 6 of the thumpers need to be built, but it is better and quicker to build and protect them all. After a thumper is built, it needs to be protected. Standard titanspawn or Titanspawn Bombers will spawn around these thumpers, trying to destroy them. The event to protect a thumper lasts for three minutes, after which a Titanspawn Disruptor will spawn. Killing this Titanspawn Disruptor will lock in this thumper as completed, and no more enemies will spawn there. Thumpers can also be repaired by bringing more supplies to them. While there are 5 other locations with thumpers, the original thumper in the base also needs to be protected. The thumpers will generate Calibrated Essence that can be gathered and given to Distant Memory to progress further in the event.
- Warclaw replaced skills
| # | Skill | Description | ||
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2 | 5 | Use your warclaw's strong sense of smell to locate enemies and hunt for treasure. | ||
| 2 | 2¾ | Your warclaw uses its mighty paws to dig, checking for a foundation to place a calibration thumper. |
- During this phase a Titanspawn Sapper will spawn, stealing Calibrated Essence from the Base Camp. While on a warclaw, the Sniff skill can be used to track this enemy down and kill it. When the Sniff skill is used, you can also see the Sapper Detected effect. This enemy cannot be damaged because of the Calibration Focus effect. Chain Pull needs to be used to break its defiance bar so that it can be killed. When killed, a lot of Calibrated Essence drops on the ground.
- During this phase, a group of titanspawn with a powerful titanspawn leader can spawn in three different locations heading to the Base Camp.
- The North Titanspawn Leader spawns at the Ura's Throne and passes the Maw of Balrior Thumper.
- The Northwest Titanspawn Leader spawns at the Decima's Stormfield and passes the Western Landing Thumper.
- The Southeast Titanspawn Leader spawns at the Greer's Lab and passes the Southern Landing Thumper.
- These leaders should be taken care of by players around the thumpers before reaching the Base Camp; when killed, the Distant Memory projections will spawn across the map, where you can deposit your essence.
- If the titanspawn have taken the Base Camp, the progress bar will start to decrease. Having some players defend the Base Camp is recommended.
Phase 3: Legendary Titan[edit]
A Legendary titan will now spawn. In public instances, the titan will be rotating each week at Tuesday 00:00. [verification requested]
[edit]
- At every 10% of its health, the titan will drop up to 15 Calibrated Essences for players to collect.
- At 75%, 50%, and 25%, the boss will flee from the current area. In these sub-phases, players have to track the Titan Stench along the mountain path. The route is random in each instance. (100%Ura's Throne > 75% and 50% altered between Decima's Stormfield or Greer's Lab > 25%Ura's Throne.) Once the progress bar has been filled by tracking the stench, the Aetheric Jump can be used to teleport players to the target location. The player will have the special action key skill, Cut Parachute, which disappears upon touching the ground.
- Tip: While the recommended mount for tracking the stench is the Warclaw, players can use any kind of mount, such as the Roller Beetle.
Decima, the Stormsinger[edit]
Decima, the Stormsinger, in this instance, shares multiple mechanics with herself in the Mount Balrior raid. Many important mechanics, like red arrows, orange arrows, and green circles, may only become visible when Character Model Limit is increased. Several conduits spawn around the arena, and the laser fences will shift in different patterns during the fight.
Arrow mechanics can add one charge to the conduits (up to a maximum charge of three), indicated by an electrified appearance and an AoE around them. The AoE size increases per charge. Players will be punished for each maximally charged conduit during each defiance bar phase. Additionally, each maximally charged conduit that gains charge applies 1 Exposed to all players.
Each charged conduit releases sparks that must be stopped by a minimum number of players, indicated by the indicator above green circles. The minimum number increases for each charge on the conduit. Decima gains 1 Charge for each spark that reaches her.
- List of notable skills
Primary article: Decima, the Stormsinger#Convergence: Mount Balrior for full skill lists.
- The red arrow is a deadly attack that will instantly kill any players in its path. Targets the furthest player, the targeted player must position themselves behind a conduit to avoid this attack. (It's possible to use the Warclaw or Skyscale's Combat Launch to avoid being downed.)
- Fluxlance (orange arrow) is similar to the red arrow attack, but less dangerous. Targets the furthest player, the targeted player must position themselves to avoid the conduits, as arrows striking a conduit will cause the AoEs to expand significantly and the minimum number for green circle is increases.
- In later phases (after 75%), The number of arrows is increased from 1 to 5 and alternates between the orange arrow and the red arrow: 5 Orange → 1 Red + 4 Orange → 5 Orange, etc.
- Sparking Aura (green circle), Conduits with charge periodically release dancing sparks that move toward Decima. Sparks lose some health and stop moving temporarily when enough players are standing in their aura. If a dancing spark reaches Decima, it is absorbed and grants her some 1 Charge.
- The minimum number of players for green circle is increased if the arrows (Both red and orange arrows) hit the conduits.
- Seismic Crash (knockback), When Decima leaps and slams the ground, any players inside her hitbox will be instantly killed. After landing, the immediate vicinity erupts with jagged rocks and pyrite, knocking back any player in the area. Players that impact a conduit will take extra damage and ricochet in another direction. Using defensive options like dodging, blocking, or Invulnerability to avoid both the initial impact and the knockback is recommended.
Greer, the Blightbringer[edit]
Greer, the Blightbringer, in this instance, similar to himself in the Mount Balrior raid combined with the Of Mists and Monsters meta event. Most of his attacks are in front of him so it is advised to stay behind him. While fighting, multiple green circle will spawn on the players. People need to be standing in these circles or a damaging AoE will spawn on the ground. An AoE will spawn around the enemy multiple times from different attacks. The Greer's AoE is the boon corrupt skills and the vine walls cannot be pass through. Most of his projectile can be block or reflect.
After each of chasing phases (at 75%, 50%, and 25%), Greer will be spawn with his greerlings, Gree, the Bringer and Reeg, the Blighter that have to dealt with before fighting with Greer. They will disappear after loss 25% of their health.

Dialogue[edit]
- In front of the portal in the Harvest Den (1 minute before the Convergences portal open)
- Kodan Cub: Shh, quiet!
- Stoic Alder: Let me tell you a story. One the ashmakers will weave for to come.
- Stoic Alder: The day the wayfinder and I crawled to the top of Mount Balrior.
- Kodan Cub: (gasps)
- Kodan Cub: Dangerous, it is.
- Stoic Alder: Indeed. It is a story of allies, pitted against unrelenting.
- Stoic Alder: The fight for survival.
- Stoic Alder: The tools we used to carve out legend.
- Kodan Cub: Wow.
- Stoic Alder: The sting of betrayal, when affection has just begun to bud.
- Kodan Cub: So, what happens?
- Stoic Alder: Well...
- Stoic Alder: The wayfinder took the first step.
- At the starting point
- Distant Memory: Are you ready to head up the mountain, Wayfinder? Expect resistance. A lot of it.
- We're ready to do this.
- We're still waiting for more people to show up.
- Escort event start
- Stoic Alder: Our tale starts, as most do, with deceptively humble beginnings.
- Stoic Alder: The wayfinder happened upon a quaint supply caravan at the foot of the mountain.
- Kodan Cub: "Supply caravan"? Ugh. Boooring.
- Kodan Cub: Yeah, when do we get to the exciting part?
- Stoic Alder: All in good time, young ones. I am setting the stage, as all good ashmakers do.
- Stoic Alder: Distant Memory was glad to have the wayfinder's assistance.
- Distant Memory: I am glad to have your assistance, Wayfinder!
- Stoic Alder: And with that, they began their trek into the mountain to deliver their precious cargo.
- First ambush approaching
- Stoic Alder: Suddenly, an ambush!
- Kodan Cub: (gasps)
- Kodan Cub: (gasps)
- Stoic Alder: The dolyak stopped in its tracks, frozen in fear. Titanspawn swarmed the caravan.
- Stoic Alder: Whatever was being transported, they did not want it reaching the mountain.
- When either ambush is defeated (random)
- Kodan Cub: Nobody can stop the wayfinder! They're the strongest!
- Stoic Alder: With the path now clear, the dolyak was free to continue up the trail.
- Distant Memory: Should be all of them, that it should. Let us be on our way.
- Second ambush incoming (random)
- Stoic Alder: Refusing to relent, another wave of the stranger's spawn attacked the caravan.
- Kodan Cub: Those monsters sure are annoying! They should learn when to quit!
- Distant Memory: Bah, more titanspawn! Defend the cargo.
- Arrival at basecamp
- Stoic Alder: Thanks to the wayfinder's efforts, the caravan reached its destination.
- Kodan Cub: Yay!
- Kodan Cub: Yeah!
- Stoic Alder: Ah, but do not be so quick to celebrate, small cubs. For the real challenge had only just begun.
- Stoic Alder: The caravan was transporting parts for a very important device: a tectonic thumper.
- Kodan Cub: What does "tectonic" mean, Stoic Alder?
- Stoic Alder: Well, you see, it's...erm. Hm.
- Stoic Alder: Irrelevant. Just know that this device was an essential tool in the wayfinder's triumph over the titan.
- Stoic Alder: As our intrepid band of heroes set up camp, an Astral Ward lieutenant approached the wayfinder.
- Stoic Alder: Her name was Vetia Foerazer, and she was the inventor of the tectonic thumper.
- Throughout the convergence, when Frozen Soil is dispelled
- (random)
- Stoic Alder: Thanks to Distant Memory, the frozen soil melted away—allowing the fallen allies to rise once more.
- Stoic Alder: Distant Memory channeled all of his strength, disabling the magics preventing the wayfinder from regaining their feet.
- Stoic Alder: And then the frozen soil thawed, allowing the wayfinder to rise once more.
- Thumper event start
- Vetia Foerazer: You there! Stop dawdling and make yourself useful!
- Stoic Alder: She was rather rude.
- Vetia Foerazer: This thumper may be up and running, but it requires calibrated magic to work optimally.
- Vetia Foerazer: Go sniff out a few suitable spots to build some calibration thumpers with that..."journeykin" of yours.
- Vetia Foerazer: Take the necessary supplies from the dolyak.
- Approaching an area to build a calibration thumper
- Stoic Alder: The journeykin's nose twitched. Its ears perked. The wayfinder was getting close.
- Uncover an area to build a calibration thumper
- Stoic Alder: "This spot should do nicely," they wayfinder thought to themselves in satisfaction.
- Upon building the thumper
- (random)
- Stoic Alder: Mechanically and efficiently, the thumper immediately got to work.
- Kodan Cub: Ooh, the wayfinder's getting warmer that they are!
- Stoic Alder: The newly constructed thumper would now serve as a wellspring of magic.
- If the thumper was destroyed and rebuilding it again
- Stoic Alder: "There," thought the wayfinder, as they rebuilt the thumper. "This time, I better make sure to protect it."
- A titanspawn leader is attacking a thumper
- Stoic Alder: As the wayfinder began running essence from the newly constructed thumper back to camp...
- Stoic Alder: ...titanspawn waited in the shadows for the perfect moment to strike.
- Kodan Cub: Look out, Wayfinder! They're gonna attack your new thumper!
- A thumper is destroyed
- (random)
- Stoic Alder: The stranger's lackeys may have successfully destroyed a thumper, but the wayfinder wouldn't give up so easily.
- Stoic Alder: "Damn," thought the wayfinder. "I have to get that calibration thumper up and running again."
- A titanspawn sapper has stolen calibrated essence
- Stoic Alder: Vetia checked the central thumper's readings.
- Vetia Foerazer: Hmmm. That's odd.
- Stoic Alder: Something was clearly stealing magic from it. But what?
- Stoic Alder: The wayfinder's journeykin anxiously sniffed about. Perhaps it sensed something.
- Once the titanspawn sapper has been found (random)
- Kodan Cub: Hey, it was a sneaky little monster!
- Stoic Alder: That it was.
- Stoic Alder: The wayfinder vanquished the troublesome magic thief and returned what it had stolen to the thumper.
- One of the following if sapper is not located/defeated in time
- Stoic Alder: The thumper's magic thief slipped away, escaping the wayfinder's clutches.
- Vetia Foerazer: Ugh. Whatever the thing was that stole from my thumper, it's escaped.
- Titanspawn reinforcements are heading towards base camp
- Stoic Alder: Packs of titanspawn patrolled the mountain diligently.
- Kodan Cub: Aw, they're not so tought. The wayfinder can handle them!
- Stoic Alder: On their own, perhaps, yes. But, if allowed to grow in number, they could overwhelm the camp.
- Stoic Alder: Potentially very troublesome.
- (or)
- Stoic Alder: The titan was most displeased with the thumper and sent its underlings to sabotage it.
- The titanspawn reinforcements have been defeated
- Stoic Alder: With the patrol felled, it left fewer of the stranger's minions to worry about...for now.
- The camp is under attack
- Distant Memory: Protect the thumper! Drive them out!
- If the titanspawns overwhelmed the base camp
- (random)
- Stoic Alder: The titanspawn overwhelmed the camp, halting the thumper's progress.
- Stoic Alder: The thumper cracked and lurched, its synchronization halted by the monsters occupying the camp.
- Stoic Alder: A wave of titanspawn surged in to attack camp. The central thumper was in danger.
- After reclaiming the base camp
- (random)
- Stoic Alder: The camp was free of the titan's minions once more. The thumper was safe...for now.
- Stoic Alder: With the camp free of titanspawn, the thumper continued its work.
- Random hazard (~33% calibration thumper progression) (one of the following)
- A sandstorm has begun
- Stoic Alder: Suddenly, a swirling torrent of blinding grains engulfed everything in sight. A sandstorm.
- Stoic Alder: The wayfinder could hardly see a thing. The sand was coarse, rough, and irritating...and it got everywhere.
- A snowstorm has begun
- Stoic Alder: The air was frigid. Ice and snow buffeted the wayfinder relentlessly. But still they fought on.
- A thunderstorm is rolling in
- Stoic Alder: The sky boomed and crackled with thunder and lightning...
- Stoic Alder: ...bursting open the clouds and soaking the mountain in a torrential downpour.
- Mount Balrior has begun erupting
- Stoic Alder: Suddenly, the mountain erupted, releasing hellish flames from its scorching maw.
- Stoic Alder: This was no mountain at all, but a volcano!
- The Mists Tide has rolled in (~66% calibration thumper progression)
- Stoic Alder: An unsettling, eerie fog rolled in, covering the mountainside like a blanket.
- Kodan Cub: (gasp) The Mists Tides!
- Kodan Cub: Go, Wayfinder, go!
- Stoic Alder: Indeed.
- ~80% thumper synchronization
- Vetia Foerazer: The thumper is almost ready. Keep feeding it magic.
- Stoic Alder: The heroes' teamwork was bearing fruit. They were nearly ready to draw out the wicked titan.
- 10 minutes before convergence ends
- Kodan Cub: Stoic Alder, is this story almost done? I'm tired...
- Stoic Alder: Don't fall asleep on me just yet, young one! You'll miss the best part.
- Titan appearance
- Stoic Alder: The ground shook under the full force of the tectonic thumper. The mighty machine rattled the mountain's very core.
- Stoic Alder: Unable to stand the noise and fury any longer, the titan, at last, angrily surfaced.
- (if Decima)
- Stoic Alder: Her name was Decima. And she was most displeased.
- Stoic Alder: "You will regret this disruption, small things," she bellowed from atop the mountain.
- Kodan Cub: OOOOOH!
- Kodan Cub: Go get her, Wayfinder!
- Decima, the Stormsinger: Who shall I strike down first...?
- (if Greer)
- Stoic Alder: His name was Greer. His rot stung the wayfinder's nose.
- Kodan Cub: Yuck!
- Greer, the Blightbringer: Commence your struggle.
- (if Ura)
- Stoic Alder: Her name was Ura. And she made the other two seem weakly.
- Stoic Alder: Her steam rippled across the mountaintop. The wayfinder winced from the heat.
- Kodan Cub: OOOOOH!
- Kodan Cub: Go get her, Wayfinder!
- Stoic Alder: As the wayfinder reached the top of the mountain, a ghostly image of Distant Memory appeared.
- Stoic Alder: Through a focused mind, he channeled his energies, forming a link between the mountaintop and the camp.
- Kodan Cub: Whoa, Distant Memory is so strong!
- Stoic Alder: That he was, young cub.
- Distant Memory: The thumper requires more fuel, Wayfinder. Deliver me any essence that is dropped, and I will feed it.

- Decima, the Stormsinger: Out of my way.
- Decima, the Stormsinger: Brave, small things.
- Decima, the Stormsinger: Insulting creatures...

- Decima, the Stormsinger: We always rise, and you will always fail.
