Calurus Swiftfoot: Hard to see from here. Should we get in for a closer look?
Domiana Shadowsight: Are you crazy? I don't want to be anywhere close to that place when Lucanus fires those guns up.
At the The Motor Pool
Mechanic Memaxx: What did you see out there? Anything promising?
Aeronaut Swizzi: This island is huge. We've only scratched the surface of it. Director wants us to focus our search for now though.
Aeronaut Swizzi: It's just as well. Equipment started malfunctioning when we got beyond a certain point. Too much wild magic.
By the north animal pen
Inquest Engineer: There's something terribly sad about the fate of these specimens.
Inquest Handler: Count your blessings. If he didn't have them, he'd be experimenting on us.
By the stair of the building
Inquest Engineer: Everything has improved, you know? Morale is higher, operations are smoother. Even the food's better!
Inquest Agent: Why did it take us this long to get a director with actual vision? We're unstoppable now.
In front of the building
Inquest Guard: Any idea what happened to those pirates Kuda recruited? Haven't seen 'em since we set up the base.
Inquest Operative: She told them that if they'd go into the ruins first, they could have any treasures they found.
Inquest Guard: Whoa, the director won't be pleased about them walking off with his prized artifacts.
Inquest Operative: I wouldn't worry about it. Not one of them came back out alive.
Inside the building
Peon Gniff: Every hour, hauling equipment and erecting fortifications. My hands are so cramped I can barely hold a wrench.
Peon Gniff: This isn't what I thought it'd be like when I signed up for this. I wish I was in Vloxx's krewe...
Peon Gniff: Anyway, thanks for listening, Spanner. You're my only friend around here.
West of the building entrance on the ledge
Inquest Void-Emulation Specialist (1): The droppings are bad enough, but today one of the raptors had an implant malfunction. Guts...everywhere.
Inquest Void-Emulation Specialist (1): Still not my worst assignment. Remember Rata Primus? My fallen krewe tried to "recruit me" into Joko's ranks.
Inquest Void-Emulation Specialist (2): Were you on Kuda's project, or—
Inquest Void-Emulation Specialist (1): Nah, the Consumer Gate Research lab. Kuda was off-site during that whole debacle. Lucky her.
Inquest Void-Emulation Specialist (2): I'd prefer she be off-site. If she's as hands on as Kudu, things could go sideways, quick. The crucible was a disaster.
Inquest Void-Emulation Specialist (3): How do you think the new boss measures up?
Inquest Void-Emulation Specialist (4): Compared to whom? As far as leadership goes, the bar is on the ocean floor, drowning.
Inquest Void-Emulation Specialist (3): True. I'm shocked there was council support for this little...excursion. They're notoriously stingy.
Inquest Void-Emulation Specialist (3): Most directors take big swings from start to finish, but this guy... This operation has played it safe, comparatively.
Inquest Void-Emulation Specialist (3): Hm... We'll see. Everyone changes when new variables are introduced. I'm not convinced he'll be any different.
The Inquest spawn at the same location, causing their dialogue lines to overlap. If two lines trigger at the same time, one of them will immediately stop.
