Content updates[edit]

Raids[edit]

  • Guardian's Glade — new raid encounter — Kela, Seneschal of Waves, and its challenge mode
  • Raids and Strike Missions got unified into one system, with its own new UI, rewards, and leaderboards.
    • Strike Missions are now called "raid encounters".
    • Introduction of new raid UI, which can be accessed at Lion's Arch Aerodrome. Now squad leaders can select which encounter to enter, including specific bosses of multi-encounter raid wings and all challenge modes. The new UI also tracks weekly clears.
    • Introduction of raid encounter quickplay, letting players enter the queue for a random raid encounter without manually organizing a group.
    • Introduction of leaderboards for challenge mode completions. They will display global top completion times as well as players' own times for the raid challenge mode.
    • Raid encounter rewards are now awarded on a weekly cadence.
    • Previous raid encounters currency — Prophet Shards — got converted and merged with Magnetite Shards.
    • New, exclusive and buffed rewards — titles, infusions, skins and currencies.
    • New daily, weekly, and permanent achievements to hunt after.

Fashion Template[edit]

A new Fashion tab has been added to the Hero panel, where players will now change the appearance of their characters' equipment. The old Wardrobe and Outfit submenus in the Equipment panel have been removed.

Wardrobe[edit]

  • Players can choose skins and dyes for their armor, weapon, and outfit slots.
  • Skins and dyes are displayed simultaneously and no longer require players to access different submenus in the Equipment panel.
  • Players can now store multiple sets of skins, dyes, and visibility toggles in Fashion Templates, enabling them to switch between looks at the press of a button.
  • Each account will start with two Fashion Template tabs. Up to seven additional tabs can be purchased in the Gem Store, giving players access to up to nine tabs.
  • Fashion Template tabs are unlocked across your account, but data is stored per character.
  • Transmutation Charges will still be used to save changes to a Fashion Template; however, applying a Fashion Template will be free.
  • If the player has unlocked equipment in their Legendary Armory that could be placed in the matching equipment slot, changes to that fashion slot (regardless of whether that item is equipped) will not cost Transmutation Charges.
  • Fashion Templates can be renamed, cleared, and shared both in and out of the game. You can optionally set them to apply automatically to newly equipped items.
  • A saved Fashion Template's individual slots can also be applied or cleared.
